ALIGNMENT COURSE
WISE spans the route from Gopeng to Kuala Kangsar, bypassing the winding and steep gradient of the existing North-South Expressway (NSE) which traverses through the Keledang Range in Central Perak.

ENTRY & EXIT POINTS
The alignment starts from NSE in Gopeng, bypassing the Menora Tunnel section and then re-enter the NSE beyond the Menora Tunnel in Kuala Kangsar.

CONFIGURATION
WISE is designed as a dual-three lane expressway with a design speed of 120km/hr and a speed limit of 110km/hr.

GRADIENT
WISE prioritises safety and convenience by implementing a gentler gradient with no incline exceeding 3%. This configuration ensures stress-free driving, especially for heavy vehicles.

INTERCHANGES
WISE comprises of 6 interchanges connecting Gopeng, Siputeh, and Kuala Kangsar.

REST & SERVICE AREA
Sitting as the heart of intercity highway, BERTANDANG & BERLUNJUR redefines the travelling experience with stunning facilities, services, and amenities. WISE will also be the first highway in Malaysia equipped with a specially designed transportation hub for heavy vehicles.
